Water and Sanitation Hygiene (WASH) DISTRICT GRANT PROJECT
Water and Sanitation Hygiene (WASH) DISTRICT GRANT PROJECT
The Rotary Club of Guiguinto Centerpoint proudly conducted its District Grant – Water and Sanitation Hygiene (WASH) Project at Sta. Rita Elementary School, Sta. Rita, Guiguinto, Bulacan on February 16, 2026. The project consisted of two (2) sets of handwashing facilities with a total of twenty (20) faucets, providing students with improved access to clean water and proper sanitation. This meaningful initiative promotes good hygiene practices and supports a safer, healthier learning environment for the school community, directly benefiting approximately 1,440 students by reducing the risk of illness, encouraging regular handwashing habits, and fostering overall well-being within the campus.
Under the leadership of Club President Pres. Rosemarie S. Guirre, the project was led by RTN. Emmanuel M. Manilay, Service Project Chair, and RTN. Emerson I. Magbitang, The Rotary Foundation Chair. Coordination was facilitated by RTN. Arthur Abarca, while project implementation was successfully carried out by RTN. Bernie R. Reyes. The activity was conducted in partnership with Ma. Neriza F. Fanuncio, EdD, Public Schools District Supervisor, with the support of PDG Benigno Emilio P. Ramirez, TRF District Chair, and Gov. Jose Alexander H. Santos, District Governor.
Through collaboration and service, we continue to create meaningful change—one school, one community at a time.
